Harvest Celebration is a special event where we come together to acknowledge and give thanks for God’s abundant provisions. Unlike the secular holiday of Halloween, our Harvest Celebration focuses on the blessings we receive from God and how we can express our gratitude.
Why Do We Celebrate Harvest?
We celebrate Harvest to acknowledge God’s provisions by recognizing and giving thanks for the many blessings He has bestowed upon us. It provides an opportunity to teach our children about God’s provision and the importance of gratitude. Additionally, it helps build community by strengthening our bonds as a church family through shared activities and fellowship. Lastly, it offers a positive and spiritually enriching alternative to Halloween, focusing on God’s goodness and our response of thanksgiving.
